Watch Apple’s featurette preview of season two of For All Mankind

Our clearest look yet at the direction they’re taking the story in season two of Apple’s alternate history space race drama.

Out of the first full year of Apple TV+, the biggest hit (and rightly so) was Ted Lasso’s first season. I’ve gone so far as to call it the best new show of 2020, not just the best show on Apple TV+. But going into the launch of Apple TV+, the show I was most looking forward to was For All Mankind and it did not disappoint. Now Apple has released a first-look featurette that gives us a pretty good idea of the direction the show will be taking in season two, which will cover an alternate early 1980s and the escalating tensions between the U.S. and the Soviet Union and their respective lunar bases. For All Mankind’s second season starts February 19. I can’t wait.
